This remarkable day celebrates and showcases the best Italian excellence in the food and beverage industry. With masterclasses and curated events scheduled from 11 a.m., you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in authentic Italian food and wine products picked by top industry professionals.
What’s On at The Italian Show?

Here are the highlights:
Tasting Station: Renowned chefs will take centre stage, sharing the stories behind each product and guiding you through an unforgettable tasting journey.
Try the Parmigiano Reggiano Tasting Session with Montanari & Gruzza, a fresh pasta tasting session from Emilia Romagna in partnership with Arte della Pasta, a captivating fruit carving show by Chef Benedetto Priolo, and a mouthwatering Pastry Show by Maestro Giuseppe Giuliano.
You can also look forward to a Pomodoro San Marzano Tasting Session in partnership with Solania and a Show Cooking session with Chef Mario Puccio. These famous professionals are set to take your taste buds on an Italian adventure.
Enoteca: Experience the finesse of Italian wines in an exclusive setting dedicated to their presentation and appreciation. Raise your glass and toast to Italy’s rich winemaking tradition.
Bar Station: Step into the world of mixology and watch skilled bartenders craft captivating Italian-inspired beverages. Discover new and innovative ways to enjoy Italian spirits.
A stellar lineup of top-notch beverage experiences will feature renowned names in the world of mixology and wine. Starting with a craft soda session in partnership with Lurisia, a wine-tasting session with Alivini, and an exploration of Italian Vermouth in international mixology with Acetaia Giusti.
Then, Doctor Cocktail (powered by UKBG) will reveal the secrets of the art of aperitivo.
You can also look forward to discovering grappas and liqueurs from Trentino with Distilleria Marzadro, a tantalising Gin & Company experience with Bad Spirits, and another wine-tasting session with Eroici Vignaioli Export. It’s all happening at the BAR STATION & ENOTECA, where these famous experts will tease your taste buds with the best Italy has to offer.
Pizza Show: Delight in the artistry of pizza-making with captivating demonstrations and classes.
Each pizza show is led by a recognised professional in the pizza world. Michele Pascarella from Napoli On The Road, Andrea Asciuti from 081 Pizzeria, Lorenzo Floris from Rudy’s Pizza, and Marco Fuso will take the stage, showcasing their pizza-making skills.
Giorgio and Giorgia Riggio will demonstrate the art of spinning pizza. Plus, there’s more with Davide Civitiello partnering with Mulino Caputo, Jonathan Marchello from L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele UK, James Elliot of Pizza Pilgrims, Diego Palladino from Pizza Metro Pizza, and Emiliana Scarpa and Giovanni Cauli – all adding their expertise to this pizza extravaganza.
Exhibition Area: Immerse yourself in Italian food and wine excellence as leading producers showcase their finest products. Explore the rich assortment of delectable offerings and experience the diversity of Italy’s culinary heritage.
The main stage in the Exhibition Area boasts a show cooking session with Chef Gennaro Esposito in partnership with Ciao – Il Pomodoro di Napoli, followed by a talk on “The new era of Italian hospitality in the UK” featuring speakers Roberto Costa, Carmelo Carnevale, Gennaro Esposito, and Salvatore Calabrese.
You can also look forward to a Parmigiano Reggiano Show with the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium and show cooking sessions with Chef Maria Anedda in partnership with Parma Alimentare and Chef Salvo Sardo.
The event will culminate in the launch of the ‘100 per 100 Italian Food in London’ guide and the prestigious ‘The Best Upcoming Chef of Italian Cuisine in the UK – Solania Award’ 2023, with a distinguished jury including Enzo Oliveri, Steve Munkley, Andreas Muller, Omero Gallucci, and Alberico Penati. Entrance to the event is by invitation if free for UKBG members. There, you’ll meet esteemed hospitality professionals like chefs, restaurateurs, buyers, distributors, importers, retailers, sommeliers, off and on-trade owners, specialised operators, media, and the press.
The Italian Show is co-organised by I Love Italian Food and the Association of Italian Chefs in the UK, with help from the UKBG; a testament to the strong collaborative efforts that have made this event possible.
It is a unique initiative aimed at fostering meaningful connections between protection consortia, 100% Italian supply chain producers, and hospitality professionals. It promises to open up new growth opportunities for the food and wine industry by simply spreading the love for authentic Italian flavours.
